Lino Printmaking Series One – Session 2 – 2 Block Printing

Take a square or rectangle of lino and carve a design that can become an art print, be used to print greeting cards, or to decorate fabric. Choose one or all of these Lino Printing Sessions to gain an introduction to a fascinating world of Relief Printmaking.

Session 2. 2 Block Printing. (Session 1 is a pre-requisite to this session).

Following on from Session 1, carve a second block to create under tone or colour for your first block. You will print both images onto paper and then print them in layers to reveal a new image. Participants will take home their lino plates and prints created during the session.

2 hour session. All materials included (Participants are advised to purchase their own tools, Jade can assist with pre-purchase of a simple 3 piece tool set for $15).
