Valley Heat Records are ever so happy to present the new tune 'Oil Rigs' by local sad bois Local Authority from their impending debut album. Joining them to mill around The Bearded Lady are Start Together, Old Home and The Steady As She Goes.

Local Authority
From Brisbane’s scorched underground, tropical goth visionaries Local Authority deliver luscious new ways to be sad with their new single, 'Oil Rigs. Out May 3 on Valley Heat Records.

Start Together
Start Together are a 4-piece who combine elements from Sonic Youth, The Cure, and Sleater Kinney to form a unique brand of post-punk / shoegaze / guitar wonderfulness. Formed on Mt. Glorious in 2017 the band released 3 singles in 2018 (XMAL Inveigle, Being Born & 9617 GrahamChapman) and have just finished recording a batch of songs for release in early 2019. Always interesting, loud, and rhythmically rich, the band's blend of complex ideas and pop hooks is certain to make its mark on you.

Old Home
Old Home are a talk-jam band from the Sunshine Coast.

The Steady As She Goes
The Steady As She Goes is Tal Wallace. Incorporating elements of doom, folk and industrial music, submerged in cavernous reverb and bordered by walls of distortion and synthesiser, The Steady As She Goes makes bad-time music sound good.

Since 2012, The Steady As She goes has continually performed live, relying on programmed drums but all other parts played live, and sharing stages with artists ranging from acoustic singer/songwriters like Ben Salter to deafening metal like Siberian Hell Sounds and everything in between, as well at art openings, a radio live to air and a goth wedding.

The Steady As She Goes records and releases independently, using DIY as much as possible.
