The Logan Women Zine Collective (LWZC) are a series of Informal Creative Sessions or 'meetups' which are being undertaken as part of a PhD research study which explores how storytelling and making, particularly through 'zines' and collaborative zine making can help to mitigate social isolation and expand informal networks of care for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) women.

What will happen in these sessions? In these creative sessions, anything is possible. We do all things ‘zine’ and zine related, such as learn how to make different types of zines, practice different creative techniques, just put our feet up, read zines, share stories and drink tea!

In this session, the fifth in a series of 8 (once a week, March–May), we will continue exploring zine making methods. Stay tuned for more details!

Who can attend? We are looking for people who identify as a woman, and are aged 18 and over, and live in Logan. We are particularly focused on women who identify as Culturally and Linguistically Diverse, however, any woman can attend.
