Longines Golden Slipper Day

This Saturday will see the running of the Group 1 $3.5 million Longines Golden Slipper. The 63rd running of the world’s richest two-year-old race headlines Australia’s biggest day of Group 1 racing.

Boasting five elite races, racegoers will not only be able to witness the Longines Golden Slipper, but also the world’s best horse, Winx, as she aims for a 32nd consecutive win in the Group 1 $1million The Agency George Ryder.

At the helm of the day’s celebrations will be Longines Ambassadors Sam Margin and Rosie Tupper and Olympic swimming great and ATC Toughest Champions Ambassador Cate Campbell. The star studded line-up will be trackside enjoying the day’s festivities including the Longines Prize For Elegance and supporting some of the toughest athletes in the worlds, the jockeys.

Australian rock legend Jimmy Barnes will close out the festivities with an electrifying live performance straight after the last race. Additional entertainment and activities on the day include, make-up touchups, fashion illustrations and Ladies Lounge.

Visitors from Sydney’s West and beyond are invited to join Cate, Sam and Rosie trackside as they cheer on Group 1 winning jockeys Kerrin McEvoy and Kathy O’Hara doing what they do best in the saddle.
