Love: A Retrospective of The Art of Glen Andrews

A group exhibition by Glen Andrews and Annette Andrews.

Glen Andrews (1968–2018) was a Brisbane artist who drew inspiration for his paintings from where he lived and what he loved. He lived for many years in Latrobe Terrace at Paddington so many of his paintings show the Paddo rooftops and streets. His work; like him; is joyful, bold, bright and bursting with energetic imagination.

Annette Andrews paints still life scenes with a twist. Her work is inspired by cryptic crosswords and each painting contains imagery that when put together create an expletive. In these works Annette is exploring the juxtaposition of beauty and profanity.
