Marcia Howard's House Of Song

Marcia Howard's one woman show 'House Of Song' is inspirational and captivating, her songs explore our relationships with family, politics and place. Marcia grew up in a multi-talented musical family and in singing and playing with her family discovered harmony, and so distinguished her own voice. Marcia studied music before going out on the road with her brother Shane's band Goanna. During this time she was introduced to Aboriginal Australia and this connection is a major influence on all aspects of her life.

Marcia is also influenced by her Irish roots. and researched her Celtic heritage in her recent Masters thesis, Holy Wells to Water Holes . She has recorded with many great Irish artists including Mary Black, Liam O'Maonlai, Steve Cooney, Brian Kennedy & Laoise Kelly. Marcia will be joined by Matiss Schubert and special guest.
