Being mindful is essential for our daily life. If we lack mindfulness, we are easily distracted and forget things, this not only affects our ability to accomplish our spiritual and worldly goals, but it can also adversely affect others. Training our mind in meditation is training in mindfulness. If we learn how to be mindful in meditation we will naturally become more mindful in daily life and vice versa. With mindfulness eventually, we will be able to maintain a continuum of positive thought throughout our life enabling us to enjoy a clear and happy mind all the time.

The retreat conditions at Glenrock Lagoon Scout Camp provide a perfect opportunity to relax, unwind & gain deep experience of meditation. This retreat is a great option for those who wish to learn how to meditate, for those who wish to improve their meditation skills or for those who simply wish to have a relaxing weekend!

All accommodation and vegetarian meals will be provided.

Accommodation:
Basic dormitory accommodation with between 4 and 8 beds in each dorm room.
