Meg Corson & Niels Rosendahl feature with JMQ Jazz Ensemble.

Meg Corson is a Jazz singer, who has worked professionally since 1990. With her vocals, she communicates the heart and soul of a song and creates a musical experience that is set apart from the rest. She was a founding member of the ARIA Award winning acapello group, The Idea of North and wrote and arranged for that group as well as being involved with a gospel choir and acting in theatre, musical and voiceovers.

As well as performing internationally, she has recorded and performed with such artists James Morrison, Don Burrows, Vince Jones, Guy Sebastian and Hugh Jackman as After taking a break from her successful music career to raise two sons in country Vic, she returned to live performance a few years back, and we are delighted to present her at the Water Rat Hotel.

Niels Rosendahl, an exceptional saxophonist has an impressive academic qualifications and has lived and worked in Australia, the UK, Europe, and the USA. Since returning to Australia, Niels has been in demand as a versatile professional saxophone/woodwind instrumentalist, performing around Australia with national and international artists. Niels also worked at the ANU School of Music as a lecturer and coordinator in pre-collegiate jazz studies and community outreach, before moving to Melbourne where he is much in demand as a player, band leader, and also a member of RAAF Bands.

They will be joined onstage by Michael Harding, Tom Lee, Alex Spicer & John Montesante. An experience not to be missed!
