The Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show presented by Lawn Solutions Australia (LSA) returns.

Visitors will experience the 2019 Welcome Garden by Mark Browning, Landscape Design Show Gardens from Australia’s biggest names and a hub of activity in the Royal Exhibition Building’s Gallery Precinct.

The new major charity partnership with Beyond Blue marks a new chapter for the Show, and is set to bring a renewed focus on the impact gardens, plants and outdoor spaces have on mental health and well-being.

Show highlights include The Great Hall of Flowers, The Boutique Garden Competition, The Baptcare Shop Window Floral Design Competition, RMIT Fashion Design student showcase, DIY floral workshops by The Melbourne Flower School and power tool specialists Ryobi.

City dwellers can enjoy after-work drinks with gourmet foods and live music while getting their floral fix at Gardens by Twilight until 9pm on Friday 29 March. The ticketed Holland America Line High Tea is the perfect place to enjoy floral inspired treats and Tokyo Ichiyo Ikebana Floristry School’s Naohiro Kasuya will showcase a spectacular Ikebana installation, celebrating the ancient floral art of Japan.

The Diggers Club will bring a taste of their Heronswood estate to the Show including samples of delicious heirloom fruits, tactile plants, clucking chickens and sweet perfumes of flower varieties. The Nursery and Garden Industry Victoria (NGIV) will debut an all-new educational kids zone designed by Richard Bellamo with pot planting activities and a bike installation that generates water supply.

Over 200 exhibitors will be onsite covering all horticultural needs. Tickets are now on sale via the website.
