Moving Feast for Lunar New Year

Throughout the Lunar New Year period, The Galeries will be celebrating the year of the pig with over $2,000 in prizes to be won, lion dances, local artists and pop up food & beverage stations.

Get Lucky
Guess the number of fortune cookies inside the ‘Get Lucky’ box for your chance to win a cash prize worth $2,000. Alternatively, keep an eye out for trays roaming the space with fortune cookies and special messages of love and blessings.

Supporting Local Artists
Sydney-based freelance illustrator Freda Chiu has collaborated with The Galeries to create an illustrative narrative behind the Year of the Pig. Find Freda inside and be in awe of her creativity each day. See the art progress on IG @thegaleries or pop in-centre from the 1st February 2019.

Pig Out
A custom Pig Out food stand will give attendees the opportunity to pick a lucky noodle box with a treat inside—a lucky few they will find a winning token.
Time: 5th–7th February 2019 from 5pm–8pm

Immerse In Culture
Find Caishen, God of Prosperity, as he journeys through The Galeries.
Time: Thursday 31st January, at 1pm
