Athletics Australia, in partnership with West HQ, New South Wales Government and Athletics NSW, will host Western Sydney’s first major running festival and community event, NAB RunWest.

The inaugural NAB RunWest will see thousands of participants of all ages and abilities walk, jog or run through iconic Western Sydney destinations including the new Sydney Zoo, Sydney Motorsport Park, the Western Sydney Parklands and Blacktown International Sports Park. Walkers and families with young children, seasoned runners and frequent joggers are all welcomed and encouraged to participate, with both 4km and 12km race options available.

A huge Finish Line Festival will be held at West HQ afterwards to celebrate this memorable occasion for the West. The festival will be free entry and open to the whole community, featuring live local music, food trucks, kids entertainment, rides and local sporting heroes from GWS Giants, Sydney Thunder, Western Sydney Wanderers and the NSW rugby league team.

Funds raised through the NAB RunWest will go towards Western Sydney projects and charities including CanToo, Better Foundation, Neuroblastoma Australia, Ronald McDonald House, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, The John Maclean Foundation and PCYC NSW.

All registrations include a free pass to the new Sydney Zoo and free transport shuttles between West HQ and Sydney Motorsport Park on event day.
