The Canberra Big Band Collective presents: Night & Day

The Canberra Big Band Collective will present another exciting public event for 2019, ‘Night & Day'. Two of Canberra's finest big bands, Twilight Jazz and ConneXion, will deliver a show for lovers of big band music that contrasts the lighter and darker sides of the genre through the decades. And for those who want to do more than sit and listen, the Swing Katz dance club will lead the way on the dance floor.

Bring your friends and come to listen, eat, drink, and maybe dance to an upbeat late spring program for the final show in this three-part concert series. Chathura (Chatters) Bandutunga, Musical Director of Twilight Jazz, said that "the strength of Canberra’s big band scene shows what a diverse city we live in. We hope these concerts bring some of that vibrance to the broader community.”

"If you’re a fan of big band music, here is your chance to hear a great representative mix," added the Manager of ConneXion, Bryan Hooley. "Over the past two years our community big bands have delivered programs that have proven to be popular with patrons," he concluded.

Food (meals and/or snacks) and drinks will be available for purchase on the evening.

At the door sales will be available at slightly higher prices.
