The Beatles toured Australia in June, 1964. The Go! Show first appeared on Chanel O in August, 1964 and Normie released his first No. 1 single "It Ain’t Necessarily So" in February 1965. All three conspired to produce a social revolution. Popular culture in Australia was changed forever. Normie captured the look, the fun and the fashion of the new age. Hysteria and headlines followed his every move. Special guest Kelly Auty.
He was the first King Of Pop and the country’s first super star and produced a string of hits that are an important contribution to the soundtrack of the Baby Boomer generation. "Que Sera Sera", "Shakin' All Over", "It Ain't Necessarily So", "It's Not Easy" and "Ooh La La", among them.
