Are you finding parenting difficult? Are you wondering why no one told you about all the struggles that come with this huge responsibility? Do you find yourself constantly scolding, shaming, forcing, disciplining, punishing, threatening or controlling child? Then come learn and grow with us.

We are running a four week course that focus on helping parents become more mindful by teaching, how the brain works and why children behave the way they do. It is underpinned by the latest research in neuroscience with studies showing that Mindfulness helps:
- Reduce stress and anxiety
- Increases emotional regulation and awareness
- Which leads to increased empathy & understanding
- Better decision making & conflict resolution skills

This course has been created around the concept of when we understand our self we then understand our children. We start to learn to how to be present with the as is of any situation that we are faced with and learn key tools to help us connect and understand instead of yelling and feeling guilty.

During level 1 you will learn:
- How the Brain works
- Understanding your emotions and thoughts
- Understanding stress and triggers
- Understanding your child’s behaviour
- Learning how to connect with your child
- Learning mindfulness tools and techniques
- Learning how to integrate mindfulness into your life

Included in the program:
- Weekly 2.5-hour classes for 4 weeks from 6:30pm to 9pm (total 10 hours)
- 3hr Mindfulness Retreat (6:30pm to 9:30pm) held on Friday 22 November 2019 at Think. Focus. Act Yoga Studio, Newport.
- A Mindful Journal & Resource Guide
