Join us for an incredibly relaxing weekend (or one of the two days) of drawing and floristry workshops with Jenny Wood and Hartfelt Floristry. We will spend our workshop hours in a relaxing venue in the Mornington Peninsula. You are welcome to join us for one day or two!

All materials, morning tea and lunch are included. You can book your accommodation and other meals to suit your taste and budget.

Day One - Workshop One: Drawing with Jenny Wood - 'So you think you can't draw?'
Get ready to find your inner awesome! How to draw in a unique way, incorporating the Monart method, Zentangle and Jenny’s own developed style in a failure free environment from beginners to advanced.

Men, women and teenagers are welcome. Don't be afraid if you have never drawn in your life because it will accommodate all levels of skill and previous experience. You will find this workshop both relaxing and rewarding in the same way that Zentangle® improves focus and builds confidence. Jenny’s teaching style is unique and incorporates the Monart, 'Drawing with the right side of your brain' and other concepts which are not traditional in Australian drawing practise. You will be encouraged to draw for 'process', rather than 'outcome' which will reward you with a new way to relax and unwind while creating beautiful artwork.

We will learn about drawing, shading and adding colour. We will also spend time honing our skills with no formal instruction but relaxing music and plenty of help if you need it. Watch the YouTube video for an overview of the fun and joy we will have!

Day One: Workshop Two: Floral Decor Arrangement
Join Sophie, from Harfelt floristry who is a qualified florist and teacher. She is eager to share her passion and skill in the creation of a contemporary boxed arrangement for yourself or a loved one. She will use seasonal flowers and a stunning colour palette while discovering how to use line, shape and colour to construct a unique design.

You will not only learn skills that can be emulated at home, but you will also get to take away a creation to enjoy for days to come. No experience required and be prepared to have the time of your life!

Day Two - Workshop One: 'Now you know you can draw!'
Get ready to find more of your inner awesome! Hone the skills you have already learned in Jenny's previous workshop by incorporating the Monart method, Zentangle and Jenny’s own developed style in a failure free environment. Participants need to do 'So you think you can't draw?' workshop prior to this.

Men, women and teenagers are welcome. We will learn more about drawing, shading and adding colour. We will do some fun and incredibly creative exercises to help you to think differently. The last hour will be spent honing your skills with no formal instruction but relaxing music and plenty of help if you need it.

Day Two - Workshop Two: Floral hair comb for the fashions of the field...or just because!
Join Sophie to create a beautifully designed and constructed floral hair comb. This fashion hair accessory is desired by ladies around the globe, being the latest trend in floral millenary. Sophie has a generosity of spirit and encourages her students to flourish with originality and inspiration. With no experience required, you will be wiring and taping individual florets to create a hair accessory of your dreams and have a blast doing so!
