The Perth Chung Wah Cultural Festival is a showcase of Western Australian Chinese culture and tradition, set in Burswood Park on the banks of the beautiful Swan River.
Free Activities for The Whole Family:
Beginning with a spectacular dragon boat race and finishing with a lotus flower ceremony, the 7-day festival is a great way for everyone to experience ancient Chinese culture.
Markets, Activities & Performances:
During the festival, Burswood Park will be transformed into a thriving market with activities, performances and food stalls. Children will have the opportunity to learn traditional skills including kite and lantern building.
Exhibitions:
Chinese art and Australian Chinese History will be on display at Crown Perth Botanicals function room.
Film Festival - Ticketed event
The festival includes the popular annual Golden Koala Film Festival, which will feature Chinese films at the Burswood Outdoor Cinema, with all profits going to Telethon.
