Kripkes's Illusion, Watercolour Ghosts, Daniel Wiggins Group & Goat Faction.

The fourth PROGlamation will showcase four of Perth’s most exciting emerging progressive music acts on August 23 and four5nine (Rosemount Hotel). The event is intended to provide a platform for exceptional local music, and a forum in which avid lovers of all things ‘prog rock’ can share their passion.

Kripke's Illusion have established themselves as one of Perth’s most revered progressive rock acts. Convincingly fusing classic and contemporary styles, the band offers remarkable song writing and instrumental adeptness in equal measure.

Watercolour Ghosts is an alternative rock group from Perth Western Australia. Heavily influenced by post-doom, shoegaze and progressive rock, the band fuses dark, spacious passages with dramatic peaks focused on a saturation of sound.

Daniel Wiggins Group (DWG) is a conceptual rock band, fusing elements of progressive, pop, and folk music. Drawing influence from prog-rock pioneers such as King Crimson and Jethro Tull, and the immortal pop music of David Bowie and Kate Bush, DWG presents a repertoire that is both musically exploratory and lyrically poetic. As newcomers (though seasoned live performers independently) the band has captivated local audiences with its intricate guitar-work, dizzying time changes and ambitious—though hook-laden—compositions.

Goat Faction originally formed in 2011 by brothers Blair and Kyle Lyons as a two piece experimental, electronic Rock band. 2018 saw the four piece release a self-titled Ep and picked up a cheeky WAM Award nomination for "Most popular new Act". With a plethora of recordings and concepts up their sleeves the band are readying themselves for an album release later in 2019.
