Update: Ian Noe won't be able to grace the QMF stage this year due to illness. The charismatic Dallas Frasca and the mighty Glitter B Club have been announced to fill his spot.

"Ian has been so appreciative of the support of our Australian fans, to Joe Pug for the opportunity, and to our promoter, BT - our deepest apologies for any inconvenience. We promise to be back and better than ever as soon as possible! Thank you again for your patience and understanding." - Love Police Touring

While QMF is disappointed that Ian Noe won't be able to grace their stages this year they're very pleased to announce the addition of the charismatic Dallas Frasca who will present two different shows, with the Saturday Dallas Frasca band set and the Sunday show with the Glitter B Club featuring a seven-piece powerhouse offering up heaving riffs, guitarmonies, three incredible soul backing vocalists, three guitarists (yes that’s right, no bass) and a weapon on the drums. The Glitter B Club are acapella raw badassery at it's glitteriest. Four-parts harmonies, four-parts bad, four-parts fashion, four-parts rad.

Endorsed by Guns n’ Roses icon Slash, who commended the frontwoman's "great vocals, riffs and grooves", the namesake of the now seven-piece, award-winning Australian rock outfit has toured the world, clocking over 100 shows on home soil and internationally, converting listeners to fans with her band’s contagious brand of blues, heavy soul, rock.

After selling out its last three years, the music jewel of the Bellarine, the Queenscliff Music Festival, returns in its 23rd year with a killer line up of local and global artists.

Icons performing on the Peninsula this November are a mix of solo sensations and chart-topping bands. Multi-award-winning singer-songwriter Missy Higgins and multi-talented musician, broadcaster and sometimes actor Clare Bowditch will be flying the female frontrunners flag, and country music star Troy Cassar-Daley and blistering blues-rocker Ash Grunwald will bring the songbook swag. New Zealand is lending legend Tim Finn, who will bring his revered back catalogue of hits from Split Enz to solo days, and British percussive guitar master Newton Faulkner will perform his own sack of hits—old and new.

Spectacular showmen The Cat Empire and Melbourne's own future soul quartet and (twice Grammy hopefuls!) Hiatus Kaiyote will bring the big band sounds, along with folk trio stalwarts The Waifs and fan favourite, intergalactic rockers The Delta Riggs. Another flock of eclectic entries on the international front are coming coast-side in 2019 too. Canada's Juno Award nominated artist and producer Alysha Brilla will showcase her cross-cultural roots, Southern Californian surf rockers Allensworth are perfectly placed to bring the coastal grooves whilst Nashville-based touring troubadour and cult-followed entertainer Steve Poltz will once again grace our shores with his dynamic and dexterous on-stage antics.

More Aussie acts rounding out the announce are adored satirical singer-songwriters Paul McDermott & Gatesy, Rhiannon Atkinson-Howatt's indie-pop alter ego Merpire, Americana eight-piece Fools, six-piece rhythm n' roots outfit Amaru Tribe, Sydney jazz trio Brekky Boy, dance-inducing Dubarray from the Sunshine Coast, Tamworth-raised, Sydney-based singer-songwriter Charlie Collins, Tasmanian folksinger Claire Anne Taylor and eighteen-year old indie, rock & soul up-and-comer Stevie Jean are set to perform too.

A weekend-long celebration of live music, family-friendly activities, craft beers, fine wines, local produce and more, it's no wonder the Queenscliff Music Festival and its picturesque locations attract musicians, entertainers and visitors from all over the country as well as overseas. The festival team are also incredibly aware of their environmental footprint as an event that sees approx 20,000 people come through each year, and are immensely proud of the 90.07% of waste they were able to divert from landfill in 2018. The Queenscliff Music Festival have recycled all plastics into picnic tables and benches, so attendees of this year's festival will most likely be sitting on and eating off the results of this great initiative.

Latest acts to join the killer first lineup announce include Devorah, Doc Halibut, GraceJean, Joe Pug, Karen Lee Andrews, Kent Burnside, Mojo Juju, Nano Stern, Remi, Ross Wilson, Sky Eater, Tanya George, The Barren Spinsters, The Long Johns, The Mamas, The New Savages, The Strides, The Swamp Stompers and The Weeping Willows.

Above the Bit, Alana Wilkinson, Cooper Lower, Ethan Farmer band, Fenn Wilson, Hoop Fusion, Immy Owusu, Isabella Khalife, Justine Clarke, Marimbataters, Momoko Rose, Nathan Seeckts, Nic Dacomb and the Bebop Circus, Sarah Caroll and Shannon Bourne, Surreal McCoy, Sweethearts, Tides of Welcome, Tom Richardson, The Mik Maks, The Vegetable Plot, Tiptoe Giants, Vince Peach and Yoga Loves Music have also just been announced to be part of the massive QMF lineup.
