With new and old friends alike, 5–12 year olds enrolled in a Queensland Ballet Dance Camp will perfect their technique and practice their pirouettes under the careful guidance of Queensland Ballet's EdSquad. T-shirt, morning tea and lunch included.

Created to enrich lives, help raise awareness about ballet, reinforce the diverse technical and expressive skills in our communities and uncover the magic of the ballet in a fun and engaging way, participants will:
- get creative with sets and costumes
- learn current repertoire
- develop choreography to share and explore with others; and
- meet new people

An informal showing will conclude the camp and parents/carers are invited to attend, and celebrate the achievements of all. This is our way of sharing Queensland Ballet with as many people as possible and increasing our reach into communities who don’t normally have the ballet in town.
For those students who love to dance, are looking for a creative outlet to learn more about the magic of the ballet and need a fun physical activity, Queensland Ballet’s Dance Camps are guaranteed to make art a part of daily life.

“It is an awesome opportunity to have access to different teachers, different teaching styles and repertoire. It is inclusive and an invaluable opportunity for rural and remote kids to take part in.” - Parent

“That not only are the ladies that ran this program amazing, they actually made a massive impression on our children.” - Parent

“It was a great opportunity for my daughter to experience learning from the teachers from the QLD Ballet who are highly regarded. It seemed like it would be a fun and friendly environment, which it definitely was.” - Parent
