Red Runners

‘Run the Red had an acoustic baby and called it RedRunners Duo’.

Wayne 'Lefty' Leffler (Vocals, Guitars, Harmonicas, Looper pedal) and Derek Smith (Vocals, Percussion, Assorted animal noises)

Industry veteran ‘Lefty’ met Derek Smith when he joined festival favourites, Mississippi Shakedown, after which they formed Run the Red and it's acoustic spin-off, the RedRunners Duo, playing a wide range of tunes for nights of dancing & singing good times or the classic cruisin' sunny afternoon beer garden respite.

Besides performing a number of original compositions, RedRunners regularly cover well-known songs from a wide array of major Australian and overseas recording artists.

Serious musicians but with an added dose of humour, story telling and the occasional rude joke!
