Remembering the Carpenters Plus Superstars Celebration

Come celebrate an afternoon of the best music in the world with Lisa Budin Price, the Canadian Australian that has made her mark on the Sydney music scene with her personal and captivating show, Remembering the Carpenters.

This 2 hour show starts with Lisa weaving the story of the Carpenters with her velvet voice so close to the sound of Karen Carpenter herself. You will reminisce and sing through the happy and sad times of the siblings Richard and Karen Carpenter and their musical careers.

Lisa’s strong stage persona and quick wit will keep the audience entertained whilst singing along to some of the world’s most famous songs such as Top of The World, We’ve Only Just Begun, Close To You, Sing Sing a Song, Jambayla and many more. She will wow you with anecdotes and stories of the famous siblings and their rise to fame and stardom. Her accompanying musician trails her storytelling journey on stage and together they add the wow factor to an evening of song.

After the interval we return for the second set of The Superstars Celebration! This is where Lisa brings out the big guns—Stevie Wonder, ABBA, The Eagles, Kylie Minogue, Whitney Houston, Shania Twain, The Beatles and many more as we shake our tail feathers on the dance floor, blow out those cobwebs and let off some steam! Back to back dance floor hits til the end of the show.
