The sixth SA Confest is happening again in 2019.

In a Nutshell:
Join around 100 adventurous people experiencing nature in a lively atmosphere of singing, chatting and activities including steam room chanting, hot tub singing, mud bathing and swimming in the river Murray. If you love new experiences, workshops and enjoy alternative thinkers then join us at this Hippy like weekend.

In Previous Years
We have had; hot tub singing, steam room chanting, back-to-back workshops on topics as varied as Laughter Yoga; Introduction to Massage: Comedy Massage; Body Painting (DIY paints provided); Ukulele for beginners; Effigy burning (large scarecrow on fire); Yoga; Introduction to Crocheting (and other crafty stuff); Vision Board (plan your future); Transactional Analysis (adult, parent, child); Lateral thinking (better thinking); Finding your voice; Saturday Night Dance with our very own Community Radio D.J; How not to step on rabbits (comedy); a Wombat Night Walk (if they are not shy); Decorating the Steam Room Wall; Family constellations (family dynamics); Peer induced education; Labyrinth (meditation walk); Conscious Poly-apathy (be more do less); etc. There were people strumming guitars, playing mini-golf (19 holes), fire twirling and assembling a giant effigy to burn. The atmosphere was open and friendly. We expect many of these workshops will be happening again this year and you are welcome to add new ones. All activities and workshops are free. Anyone is welcome to run a workshop. This event is open to all ages.

Pricing:
Accommodation is extra and payable at the office upon arrival. Children 16 years and under have free entry.

Accommodation:
Site is $14 per person per night for camping. There is a very limited number of powered sites for $6 extra per site per night. Suites are $70 and cabins $53 per night.

Things to Remember:
This event is clothing optional for those who wish to experience the natural freedom of their bodies in a safe and supportive space, many people remain clothed as the focus of the weekend is not on nudity but on connecting, sharing, new experiences and personal growth. The venue is on a private property close to Adelaide on the Murray River, between Swan Reach and Walker Flat. Pilwarren is set in beautiful bushland and has room for hundreds of people. Accommodation is in hired cabins, your own vans or tents. There is an excellent kitchen where we will team up to cook delicious vegetarian meals for everyone, and ablution blocks with hot showers and flushing toilets (yes, it's ConFest with a modern touch!).

Everyone has the opportunity, in fact is encouraged, to get into the true spirit of ConFest by bringing their own special offering to share with the rest of us, such as running a workshop, firewood, musical instruments, pizzas for the pizza oven, a fire twirling show or other entertainment, decorations—use your imagination. If you want to share meals please bring food to share, either prepared in advance or as separate ingredients to go into our communal meals. Barbecues and a cooking area are available for those who wish to prepare their own food (including meat).

Everyone at SA Confest is responsible for helping make others feel safe, welcome and connected. The abuse of drugs and alcohol is not welcome. Cameras and mobile phones are not allowed to be used at Pilwarren. (It is a short walk to the road where mobiles can be used).

There is a separate camping area, on the river, a 6-minute drive away for those who wish to bring pets. This area has no facilities (no toilets) and a fee of $6 per day is paid to Pilwarren for the use of their facilities in addition to the SA Confest entry fee.
