With special guest Andrea Kirwin.

Sarah McLeod is the creative force behind ARIA Award winning, platinum- selling rockers The Superjesus. With over 20 years in the industry she has experimented with many different styles and genres. Collaborating with Jeff Martin from the Tea Party, Chris Cheney from The Living End, Steve Aoki, Tiesto, Dzeko And Torres, Hook And Sling, Electric Six and many more.

Having released 3 studio albums with The Superjesus (Sumo, Jet Age and Rock Music) and two studio albums as a solo artist (Beauty Was A Tiger and Rocky’s Diner) McLeod has proven herself to be one of Australia’s most diverse artists. Her most recent release ‘Rocky’s Diner’ was written in New York and shows a distinctive 50’s soul influence that highlights her extraordinary vocals.

McLeod’s eclectic solo performances have consistently been met with rave reviews.

“I find that when I’m playing in The Superjesus, for me it’s more about playing the guitar. My solo shows are a different though. The guitar work is really simple and its all about the singing. I really love the peace in playing solo, to just enjoy the quiet and control the dynamics as I feel them flowing through me. It's always very impromptu, I just move with the vibe of the room.”

Armed with the work ethic of a runaway train, McLeod also has a passion for acting and starred in Green Day’s American Idiot in 2018 playing the role of St Jimmy alongside Grinspoon’s Phil Jameison and Magic Dirt’s Adalita to rave reviews. The Superjesus have recently completed a national tour celebrating the 20 year anniversary of Sumo and were inducted into the South Australian Music Hall of Fame in 2018.

Supported by local Sunshine Coast artist Andrea Kirwin, an Australian/Fijian singer-songwriter/producer and storyteller. Andrea’s original music is an earthy blend of Folk, Roots, hip hop, funk, reggae and soul and is born from love and her desire to understand humanity. Her signature voice can be both honey toned, calming and a balm to the soul and at other times a bluesy soulful gospel wail that can bring the house down.

Join us for an intimate, acoustic session with Sarah McLeod, as we christen the Sunshine Coast's newest live music venue.
