Have you ever wondered who the descendants of vikings really are? Now you have the chance to find out. You can meet us at this years Scandinavian Market. All the Scandinavian countries will be represented - and so will their delicacies!
The Finnish, The Estonian, The Swedish, The Norwegian and The Danish Churches invites you to be a part of a day filled with music, folk dance, vikings fighting, silent auction, raffle and a lot of great fun. We provide a family friendly atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy your Saturday.
- Try out Swedish “smörgåstårta” (Sandwich Cake), Finnish “Hernekeitto” (Pea soup) og Danish “Frikadeller med kartoffelsalat” (Meatballs with potato salad).
- Or try Norwegian waffles or Danish “hotdogs” or delicious cakes from the Nordic countries.
- You will find great stalls with Scandinavian design quality products, Danish and Swedish goods and lollies.
- Buy raffle tickets and win great prizes on the spot!
- Bid on the great prices at the silent auction.
- Families can entertain themselves with our quiz or painting viking drawings. You can also build with Danish LEGO.
- And not least—meat a real Viking! Or enjoy watching “Lôke” the Estonian dancers or listen to the Estonian Choir.

13:15 - Silent auction winners are announced (garden stage)

Additional parking can be found at the Pennant Hills Primary School opposite the church on Weemala Road. Follow the signs! Two spaces at the school are disabled parking.
It's a good idea to bring cash to the market. Select stalls will accepts EFTPOS payment on the amount (VISA, Mastercard and debit cards).
It is a small venue and even though we do like dogs very much, we ask that you do not bring you dogs to the venue for the sake of both the dogs and the visitors.
