Sherlock Holmes and a Woman's Wit

This play is the latest in the popular series of shows recreating live radio drama and features the much loved detective Sherlock Holmes. In this play, Holmes is called to a case involving the gorgeous opera singer Irene Adler and he becomes totally won over by her charm.

The show also contains a second Sherlock Holmes story. Distinguished voice actor Paul David Goddard plays the enigmatic Holmes, with Simon Russell as Dr Watson. Lucy Gransbury is featured as Irene Adler.

Produced by Lux Radio Theatre from Melbourne and presented by the Forge Theatre Daytime Series program this play has lots of great (over)acting, humour and live sound effects, with a free Afternoon Tea in the Forge Theatre foyer before the show from 1:30pm. A great way to spend a Winter Sunday afternoon is at a Forge Theatre show.
