The Simon Kinny-Lewis Band take the audience on a seismic journey of compelling, blues guitar. Their world-class musicianship, soulful vocals, impressive songwriting, and high energy performance is front and centre at any of their live shows, or in the studio.

Simon’s own original brand of contemporary blues and rock has created a loyal fan-base of guitar enthusiasts around the globe. He has performed and recorded with highly regarded musicians such as Chris Cain, Anton Davidyants, Nate Ginsberg (Herbie Hancock’s Monster Band), Christian Howes, Simeon Cain (Henry Rollins Band) and many more.

He has produced 6 albums to date with his previous solo album “Catfish” and band album “Bad Whiskey” reached number 1 and 2 respectively on The Australian Blues and Roots Charts. The brand new CD “A Day in San Jose” will no doubt follow that trend.

Simon is not the only focus in this band. Tony Boyd and Rob Ewan (drums and bass) are a sought after rhythm section and over the past several months have toured with US guitar greats Josh Smith and Eric Stekel.

Just recently Simon has been recognised at the Australian Blues Music “Chain’ Awards 2019 as “Best New Talent” and was also a finalist in the categories of “Album of The Year” and “Duo or Group of The Year” alongside artists such as Lloyd Spiegel, Fiona Boyes, Cyril B Bunter and 8 Ball Aitken.
