After the reflective time of mercury retrograde
and the intensity of a long Scorpio moment
stirring the deeps in us
uncovering things not seen in a while, if ever
we pause
we breathe
Allow
our arts making to reveal
what we have come to know
the invisible but felt made tangible
in form

Slow Hum Sunday:
an invitation to pause, breathe,
take some time out for you
to enter the flow of slow
on the last Sunday of November
(before the silly season craziness)
to trust your body to reveal
deep intuitive new knowing...

Slow arts making
slow and restorative yoga
the humming zikr of communion,
we pause, we breathe
we tune in to ourselves
connect with each other
restore refresh soul-nurture
Slow Hum

So ham Slow hum Slow yum
Slow...because there’s enough hustle and hurry in our lives
....because slow means we can more easily connect with ourselves, to be present to ourselves and to those important to us, to the earth.
....taking the time to be slow, to move and breathe and think and feel from our inner awareness, from our intuition or higher self can give us answers to life questions, regulate the nervous system, relax the body, quiet the mind.
....we have more energy, and are likely to live longer, and better.
Hum...the sound of our exhaling breath, and the universal mantra
...the sound of the contentment we feel as we express ourselves with the truth and insight which comes from being present
....the hum of the zikr of communion, a sufi practice for to connect us with our hearts
....the satisfaction of arts making, trusting our bodies, our knowing, to reveal something not yet known to us...
