The festive season excitement is mounting as we countdown to Christmas and the yuletide entertainment just keeps on coming at Bankstown Central.

It’s a whirl of Christmas activities starting with Christmas carols and live music through to kid’s craft activities, a virtual reality Snow Dome and the chance to win a free retailer’s gift. Gift wrapping will also be available outside Sheike on Level 2 for the cost of a gold coin donation to Mission Australia.

Local choirs and musicians will be entertaining daily throughout the Centre with performers including the Vov Dylan Trio, Bankstown Brass Band, Natalie Claire Quartet, Salvation Army and the Revesby Presbyterian Carollers.

From 16 to 24 December, it's fun for the whole family at the virtual reality Snow Dome on Level 2 near Target, 12–3pm daily. Customers simply download the App FunPix AR then stand in front of the snow dome image to see the snow falling around them when they take their photos using the 3D effects.

Also from 16 to 24 December is the Kid’s Christmas Craft, daily from 12 to 3pm in the Target Mall. The kids will get to create and design their very own Christmas wreaths, gingerbread men and wooden wind chimes and take them home to place on the Christmas tree.

There's even some Christmas cheer for the grown-ups with a Facebook competition and the chance to win one of 24 gifts from retailers displayed in the Fashion Mall. See Bankstown Central's Facebook page for full details.

"Tis the season to be jolly"—and there's nowhere jollier than Bankstown Central!
