Socalled Sings Yiddish With Zephyr Quartet

Socalled, “the mad wizard of Yiddish Hip-Hop,” goes back to his roots with a ground breaking, heartbreaking new show featuring songs from the Yiddish Theatre, Hassidic melodies, Klezmer, folksong, songs from the Holocaust and a number of new originals.

Performed with Zephyr Quartet with an arrangement that gives the music the harmonic respect it so richly deserves. The revival is over, the Yiddish era is here again; come celebrate and explore the riches of this extraordinary culture.
