A Festival of Celtic music and dance, by Challis Singers, conducted by Isabel Palethorpe. Featuring special guests Adder's Fork, with Emily Palethorpe (Cello), James Palethorpe (Violin) and Nick Salter (Percussion), Killara Scottish Dancers and dancers from the Sydney Academy of Irish Dance.
Challis Singers is a north shore based community choir, who sing acapella (unaccompanied) in four part harmony and cover a wide range of musical genres from classical, folk, gospel to pop. Adder's Fork are a Celtic music trio from Sydney's north shore. They combine the sweet sounds of guitar, mandolin, clarinet, recorders, bodhran (Celtic drum) and vocal harmonies to produce a sound that is both contemporary and ancient.
