Children taken, parents left behind. As a nation our past informs our present. ARIA Award-winner Dan Sultan leads a cast of more than 200 singers and musicians, in this extraordinary concert event inspired by the music and ideals of social justice.
For one night only, Dan Sultan’s rich and soulful voice will resonate through QPAC’s Concert Hall, with his memorable rock, roots and blues hooks. He will be joined by legendary Women in Voice artist Leah Cotterell whose work spans political cabaret to jazz and singer/songwriter, and Songwoman Maroochy of the Turrbal People.
Songs of Justice also features the combined voices of the QPAC Choir, Queensland Children’s Hospital Choir, and a host of local community choirs. Brisbane favourite Kay McGrath will MC the concert with The Honourable Dame Quentin Bryce as the concert’s guest speaker.
