South of the City – Stoka, Velvet Bloom and Rokai

After a killer 2 years or hard work and some great times Stoka will be taking a well earnt break to step back and focus on some other ventures. As a massive thank you to everyone who has supported them over the years there will be throwing a farewell show with wonderful friends Velvet Bloom and Rokai.

Bursting out of Melbourne's South East is four-piece reggae-rock outfit, Stoka. Likened to a melting pot filled with Kings of Leon + Gang of Youths Stoka has been leaving audiences breathless with their raw and ephemeral sound, carving their way onto the Australian music scene with scintillating performances.

Aptly named Velvet Bloom is a Melbourne based project founded by singer-songwriter Maddy Herbert. Maddy is a story-teller who with the help of her 4-piece band “The Vito Collective” brings her emotive lyrics to life to deliver an enchanting mix of velvety, jazz-pop.

Rokai are a dynamic mix of musicians offering up a taste of soul, funk and alternative blues-based in Melbourne Australia. The all-star lineup features a powerhouse of musicians from different backgrounds and musical diversities.
