Starward Selects Flight Night

Join us for a night of Starward as this month, we are showcasing the evolution from Red Wine cask to Nova, exclusive to the distillery, including the return of the very recent globetrotter Seafarer Cunard and the Sister cask, The Whisky Club exclusive Charred Red Wine Cask, our flagship single malt Nova and a taste of where it all began from a very special cask we have here.

With a heavy focus on what we mean by elemental maturation and how the ever changing Melbourne climate affects each of our whisky barrels. We’ll start the night with our a sample of our very own signature malt spirit, produced on site, and then go into depth on how the elements, and different wood types play an integral role in making our whisky uniquely Starward, Truly Melbourne born and bred.

We’ll also be going over the story behind the name change from Wine Cask to Nova, and will hopefully be able to pull some experimental labels and design ideas from the archives too.
