A photographic exhibition to celebrate and empower mature women, whom, through their skills and care, have bought beauty and joy into other's lives.
This diverse group of women women have brought and are still bringing beauty into others lives through being Involved in the arts and caring professions, dynamic, socially active, caring women, who have contributed to society and culture and everyday women who happen to be Auntie’s of society.
Through black and white portraiture and interview, Kaz provoked the woman to think about and acknowledge their own self-perception. She asked them to describe themselves in five simple words, and to list what they have achieved thus far.
“Still Beautiful” Is an Ongoing Photographic Project
In the “Still Beautiful” series Kaz's aim is to explore issues of self-esteem in women in their middle to later years, empowering them to believe in themselves and acknowledge their own self-worth.
Truly An exhibition to remind the subjects and the viewer that mature women, no matter their life experience, are a vital part of society, all “Still Beautiful” as individuals.
