Internationally acclaimed guitarist Oliver Fartach-Naini returns to Kay Brothers Winery, 57 Kays Road McLaren Vale, South Australia for the first South Australian performance of his new solo album Suite Latina.

The concert will be followed by a degustation lunch at 1:30pm. The 3-course lunch will be paired with Kay’s award winning wines. The South American program of the concert will feature music by Máximo Diego Pujol (Argentina), Hector Ayala (Argentina), Richard Charlton (Australia) and Antonio Lauro (Venezuela) and follows performances in Sydney, Melbourne and South Korea.

Oliver’s Suite Latina cd, which was released last December received 5-star reviews in The Australian and ClassikON. US critic Blair Jackson wrote in Classical Guitar Magazine: ‘This solo guitar release is a winner on every level; I can’t recommend this beautifully played and very well-recorded disc highly enough!’

German-born guitarist Oliver Fartach-Naini is an exceptionally versatile guitarist who tours internationally from Adelaide where he teaches at the University of Adelaide’s Elder Conservatorium of Music. A student of American guitarist-composer Laurie Randolph, Oliver looks back on a colourful career of innovative projects with which he has delighted audiences the world over.

Testament to his versatility is his eclectic portfolio of collaborative projects and well over a hundred world premiere performances of new works. To date Oliver has released 11 CDs including seven different chamber music formations for the German labels Deutsche Grammophon, Kreuzberg Records, Acoustic Music Records as well as Credia International (Universal) and Ethnoclassics.
