Scenic World comes alive in Summer, with long days and warm weather in the Blue Mountains providing the perfect stage for these school holidays. Whether you’re after thrilling adventures, a relaxing rendezvous, or just want to entertain the kids—there’s something for everyone at Scenic World.

Feel the rush of plunging 52 degrees into the Jamison Valley on the world’s steepest railway or reconnect with nature on the 2.4km elevated Scenic Walkway, set among towering ancient rainforest. Couples, families and nature lovers will enjoy gliding above the treetops on the Scenic Cableway, and the iconic views of the Three Sisters from aboard the Scenic Skyway will leave you in awe.

Be camera ready as the kids get to hold cute native animals in their own hands and learn how these friendly creatures thrive in the Blue Mountains wild. Free meet and greets with native animals will be held daily between 11am–2pm from December 27–30 and January 2–5.

Scenic World is open every day of the year including Christmas and New Year’s Day. We highly recommend booking ahead online during the school holidays as ticket numbers are limited.
