Comedians:

Brett Nichols has strutted his stuff on The Footy Show and The Comedy Channel’s Stand Up Australia, and has entertained Aussie and New Zealand troops in East Timor and the Solomon Islands. His versatility and ad-libbing excellence sees him transfer every show into a night you’ll never forget!

Brett, along with his identical twin brother and partner in crime, Mark, is also an award-winning filmmaker and screenwriter. The twins’ short film Identical was a finalist in Tropfest 2016, while Washed Up, another short comedy, made competition’s shortlist in 2014. They were also runners up at the 2003 IF Awards, being nominated for Best Unproduced Screenplay, for their comedy feature film script Hodads.

Ciaran Lyons is verifiably one of Australia’s fastest-rising stand-up comedy stars and media personalities. Since being awarded the Artists’ Choice award at the Wild West Comedy Fest in 2015 and Next Gen Comedian by the Perth Comedy Festival at just sixteen years of age, Ciaran has been nominated for Best Comedy at Fringe World, hand-picked by the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for their prestigious Comedy Zone showcase of the hottest new comics in Australia.

With TV and radio credits including regular guest reporting for Channel Ten’s The Project, stand-up performances on ABC TV’s Comedy Bites Gala, triple j’s Good Az Friday live show (broadcast from Melbourne Town Hall for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival). He regularly presents on national youth station triple j, where he has been heard solo hosting every show from the early morning shift to the Breakfast Show and Drive.

International Australian comedian Daniel TowneS first hit the Sydney comedy scene with his acerbic, intelligent, and laid-back stand-up style in 2003, and quickly made his mark as one of the country’s best live acts and most sought after comedians. His live performances are packed with killer one-liners, insightful social commentary, and dark and hilarious personal stories.

He’s performed at the prestigious invite-only Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, and won over audiences worldwide with his disarming delivery, dry wit, and cheeky smile: headlining and hosting at comedy clubs throughout Australia, the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, Germany, Spain, Ireland, South Africa, Canada, The Netherlands, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Doha. In 2016 he performed at the Just For Laughs Australia Stand Up Series, filmed at the Studio at The Sydney Opera House for The Comedy Channel, and in 2017 he appeared on the ABC2 Comedy Up Late series at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Cracker Night for Sydney Comedy Festival on The Comedy Channel.

Besides constantly lighting up comedy clubs and festivals around the world, he’s appeared on Good News Week, The Footy Show, The Comedy Channel’s Stand Up Australia and Sydney Comedy Festival’s Cracker Night, ABC TV’s Stand-Up, Comedy Train on Humour TV in the Netherlands, and also hosts The Daniel Townes Podcast, a weekly conversation with comedians from around the world.
