Taylors Wines Summer House of Shiraz

Welcome to Taylors Wines Summer House of Shiraz! Australia’s favourite red wine variety has a new address in Sydney and you're invited to step inside for this exclusive tasting event.

From Tempranillo, to Pinot Noir, through to glorious Shiraz—the Summer House is the hottest spot in Sydney to chill with a glass of red. Family-owned winery Taylors hopes to challenge the notion that red wines are only for cosy winter nights indoors, but can be enjoyed all year round as a refreshing drop through the importance of serving temperature.

Ticketed guests will be whisked away via Rose Bay Wharf to the private Point Piper abode for an eye-opening 90-minute tasting experience. The Summer House Chef, and My Kitchen Rules winner Will Stewart will be in the open-air kitchen serving delicious summer dishes matched to a selection of Taylors award-winning reds.

Ticket price includes the cost of water transfer, all wine tastings and food. This event is strictly limited to guests 18 years of age and older.

Getting there:
In your ticket confirmation, you will receive a designated pick-up point for the water taxi service to take you to the Summer House of Shiraz. You must arrive and check-in at this location at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled session, as water taxis depart on the hour. Sessions are strictly limited to 90-minutes. Those guests who are late to the scheduled water taxi boarding times will not be brought aboard and tickets will not be honoured. There will be no refunds for those guests who miss the water taxi service to their designated session.

We recommend guests take public transport or other ride-sharing services to the pick-up location as there will be limited public parking at the designated pick-up location. Please bring your proof of age card or other government issued identification to provide proof of age to board the ship.

No wheelchair access:
As we will be transferring guests to and from shore via water taxi, there will be no wheelchair access for the Summer House of Shiraz. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Safe and careful departure/arrival:
Please note that guests participating in this event will need to board and access a private jetty and water taxi. While the promoter and its partners will take all precautions to ensure safe travel, guests are responsible for their persons and belongings when boarding the private water taxi and jetties.

Dietary requirements:
Any dietary requirements or food allergies must be disclosed in the ticket booking form. Any dietary requests or food allergies noted on the day of the event will not be accommodated.

Responsible service and consumption of alcohol:
All service crew are RSA certified and will uphold the strictest of RSA standards based on the current laws of New South Wales Liquor & Gaming. If security or service members determine a guest to be intoxicated or displaying disorderly conduct, they will be immediately removed from the venue via water taxi at the cost of the guest or guests. There will be no ticket refunds for those guests removed from the event due to intoxication.

Cancellations:
Only in the event of extreme weather conditions or a significant natural event would the event be cancelled or rescheduled. The event organiser will communicate directly with guests in the event of a cancellation.

Refunds & transfers:
Refunds will only be given to those ticket holders who notify the event organiser within seven days of their allocated session. No refunds will be provided to those guests who miss or do not attend their designated session. Changes or ticket transfers may occur until 24 hours prior to the event.
