Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, recent tour of Australia and baby announcement, have royal watchers in a frenzy, leaving one Aussie millennial wondering if he’s the only one feeling, well, a little jealous.

Emerging actor and writer, Patrick Livesey has channelled those feelings into a tongue-in-cheek look at status and privilege in his most recent theatre work The Boy, George, which he is bringing to Adelaide Fringe for the first time in 2019.

The year is 2028 and Prince George has it all. He’s young, rich and famous and absolutely the most popular boy at Eton. Just ask him. But the times they are a changing and being Royal isn’t quite what it used to be. When the Queen dies, the would-be King’s future isn’t looking so bright.
