America's (second) most notorious liar is coming to Melbourne Fringe.

Former White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is on a global propaganda tour—and her first stop is Melbourne. Join one of the Trump Administration's most trusted truth-twisters for an event that is part press briefing, part character stand-up and part improvised Q&A. Don't forget to bring your questions!

The Briefing:
- Written, produced and performed by Melissa McGlensey
- Directed by Adam Hembree
- Supporting roles played by Randy Adeva and Kiran Stanford Rao

For advance tickets, visit website or call (03) 9660 9666. There will be door sales if available.

American expat Melissa McGlensey is tackling the dumpster fire of daily news from her home country in the only way she knows how—through comedy. In "The Briefing," McGlensey shows off her signature mix of politics, satire and comedy. Premiering at the 2019 Melbourne Fringe Festival, this debut solo show is a sendup of right wing politics in both the USA and Australia.

McGlensey is a writer, comedian and filmmaker originally from Orange County, California. She has trained at comedy theaters including The Upright Citizens Brigade (LA and NYC), Reckless Theater, The Improv Conspiracy, ImproMelbourne, Laugh Masters Academy (Sydney and Melbourne) and The Second City (Chicago). She is currently the Director of Completely Improvised Potter and a company member of Soothplayers: Completely Improvised Shakespeare. Her bylines include The Huffington Post, Today, Reductress, The Betoota Advocate and more.
