The Drawing Social – Drawing for Beginners

Absolutely no creative skills necessary! These beginner-friendly events are for you if you want to:
- Meet new people in Melbourne
- Practise drawing a range of subjects
- Practise your conversational skills

"So is this a workshop or a social event?"

It is both! If you've been to a paint and sip event, this is the drawing equivalent (draw and sip!), with a little more interaction between attendees. Each session will have a different theme, which will guide the social activities that accompany the drawing exercises. There will be a lot of talking, a lot of drawing, and some drinking.

What you will learn:
- Basic drawing techniques related to the week's theme
- Learn to create quick sketches

What you will get:
- All drawing materials provided
- Refreshments - tea and nibbles

Classe Petit focuses on the journey, not the destination. In our class, we don’t talk about what’s “correct” or “proper”; we encourage free explorations of ideas and techniques, which very often leads to discovering a whole new world of possibilities!
