Summer is here so we’re bringing you some of the finest live music for your listening pleasure. Over three Friday nights in November and December you can be part of intimate performances by some of Perth’s best artists and bands at the Sonar Room in Fremantle.
Come along to listen, go home having been moved and with a song on your lips and in your heart. On 6 December, we close out the Listening Room Summer Series with a night of pop, rock and country blues.
The night opens with the next-big-thing indie-pop of King Ibis, one of Perth’s hottest new properties right now. The way this band arranges their songs will have you engaged from the very first note and the counter play between vocals and guitar is a unique delight.
Next we have the Paige McNaught Experience, who play rocking blues that is reminiscent of the 70s via Patti Smith. PMX are international rockers who reside in Fremantle but take their heart and soul from the world.
Closing the night is Savanah and the Strays, who deliver the most delightful country rock that is equally as FM-radio friendly as anything ever done by the likes of Fleetwood Mac or Brandi Carlile.
