The Dark Room presents 'The Pillowman'. Playing for the first time in Geelong, this is a show not to be missed!
"Right at this moment, I don't care if they kill me. I don't care. But they're not going to kill my stories. They're not going to kill my stories. They're all I've got." - Katurian.
A writer of gruesome stories...a good cop...a bad cop...a mentally challenged brother! Martin McDonagh's Tony and Olivier Award winning play is coming to Geelong for the first time!
Set in a totalitarian state, two police officers taunt, torture and play mind games with a fiction writer, brought in for questioning over a series of murders that are remarkably similar to the short stories he has written. When he hears that his mentally challenged brother is also a suspect, the writer will stop at nothing to ensure their survival and the survival of his fiction! Sublimely performed by four outstanding actors, this is a production not to be missed!
Through fast paced dialogue, narration and re-enactment, intense moments and laugh out loud scenes, The Dark Room proudly presents, for a limited season only, 'The Pillowman'.

The event will be at the Shenton Performing Arts Centre.
