The beautiful Yarra Valley will host the 2nd River Folk Festival in 2019, located in the hidden gem of Warburton! The highly-anticipated lineup of stellar international, national & local folk musicians will colour the Yarra Valley with world-class music!
Featuring the exquisite Red Tail Ring (USA); longtime Folk Festival 'troubadour' favourite, Scott Cook (Canada); internationally acclaimed songstress Dana Sipos (Canada); Melbourne's balkan gypsy heavyweights Hello Tut Tut; The Seduceaphones; Charm of Finches; Bourke Street legends Malcura & Santa Taranta.
#RFF2019 has programmed an array of legendary, quirky, wild, raucous & soulful local acts including: The Anecdote; The Bean Project; Lily & King; Kristian Mizzi; Spiritus; Phoebe like the Moon; Tinman; Lucy Pierce; Hannah Schmidi; Orpheus in the Underworld & Cath Connelly on Celtic Harp.
Festival highlights include: Sisters of Song—a women-only showcase celebrating the talent of local, national & international female musicians; a Youth Mentoring Program for aspiring local young musicians & a dedicated Children’s Space hosted by Woody’s World for Children.
With 5 venues across the picturesque town of Warburton, including 2 free stages for locals and visitors alike, the lively weekend of music at our community-based music, arts & cultural event is not to be missed!
