The Songwriter's Round Table

Kalamunda Music Festival presents The Songwriter's Round Table. The evening is filled with music and interviews that will be held in a talk show style setting upstairs in the cosy wine bar of The Vault Restaurant. Come and experience a journey through the songwriters mind discovering their process, muse and what fuels their imagination in the art of song.

Award-winning songwriter and community radio personality Matt Cal will host this not to be missed event. Interviewing live on stage a number of Perth’s top songwriters, delving into what makes them tick and asking each to share a glimpse into their most personal of musical stories and to dazzle us with a favourite song or two. Come and enjoy the music while dining on the fine cuisine on offer in the prime setting of Kalamunda’s top restaurant, The Vault. Get up close and personal with leading songwriters from Perth bands such as Kings and Queens, Danse Macarbe, Fourth State, Mystic Rebellion, Freehand Music, Commanda Panda, Bambuseae Rhythm Section and more.

Pre-show entertainment from Perth gypsy jazz legends Blue Drag, Ethan Walters and Danse Macarbe and finish your evening in style with a performance from renowned local troubadours the Matt Cal Band.
