The Village Cuppa: Meet the Gardener

Belrose’s favourite garden centre, Four Seasons Nursery, will be special guests at Glenrose Village Shopping Centre’s monthly community initiative, The Village Cuppa.

Local green thumbs can enjoy a free cup of coffee while learning about how to take better care of indoor plants during the cooler, more humid Winter months.

You can learn some helpful gardening tricks on the day such as the art of slow watering. "Over watering indoor plants is one of the biggest challenges," say Rachel Okell from Four Seasons Nursery.

"Days are shorter during Winter and plants can’t absorb as much light nor water as they can during the warmer months," adds Okell.

The team from Four Seasons Nursery will "bring a variety of indoor plants to show and discuss on the day to make the talk more interactive and memorable."

The event will be at the Three Beans Cafe.
