Tijuana Taxi is a natty 8 piece ensemble (with real marimba!) that evokes the mood and music of the swinging sixties, faithfully recreating 21 classics of this unique, upbeat, melodic group whose tunes became the backdrop for the 60’s and 70’s and will strike chords of deep nostalgia for baby boomers as well as intrigue and delight the next generation of kitsch-loving younger gen folks. It’s music that spans generations. With hits such as “Spanish Flea”, “Tijuana Taxi”, “The Lonely Bull” and “A Taste of Honey”, this is the tip of the iceberg of the great body of work put out by Herb and his band.
