Timor Leste Vision's Quiz Night

Timor Leste Vision (TLV) is a very small voluntary registered charity based in Perth to deliver community-based projects in Timor Leste (Timor). We also now have a small team of volunteers in Timor who studied in Perth and on their return home wanted to continue their relationship with us, hence the beginning of a small on-ground team in Timor.
 
We will be working in partnership with 3 communities in Manufahi, and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Australian Aid: Friendship Grants, to build toilets at the school and community toilets at locations identified by the communities. These communities have prioritised this need recognising the activity’s immense value. Limited access to sanitation in many areas in Timor negatively impacts community health, wellbeing and access to education and we are committed to working with the community to complete the project. 

On completion of the project we will develop a strategy, with the Timor team, for the long-term maintenance of the water system, as well as education on hygiene promoting positive health outcomes to these villages.
