Robert Zielinski will perform his recently composed song cycle Torbay this coming Thursday. This work is inspired by the rhythms of Torbay inlet near where Robert now lives. It follows the natural progression of a day from dawn to dusk using the Celtic forms of the slow air, slip jig, march, reel and pibroch, but the music is firmly rooted in Australia. Robert will also play other original pieces in what marks his first ever all-original programme.

With special guests John Reed and Jude Iddison.
