The Urban Guerillas have been spotted supporting GANGgajang, the Radiators and Spy V Spy over the last few years and have been endearing themselves to those audiences who come out in force to get a dose of classic pub rock with their own brand of high energy pub rock with a message. Friday 12th April the Urban Guerillas will be playing three free sets at Dundas Sports and Entertainment Club in Dundas. They will be playing some of their most popular songs from the 1980s "1984", the Mal Eastick produced "She's Probably" and their 1987 anthem "Here Come the Americans".

With such a large repertoire over so many years there is so much to wrap your ears around. 2001 "Big Brother", 2007 "... and the wind brought change" album, 2015 "My Kind" EP, 2017 "Guerilla Radio" EP and the current singles "What I Wish For" and the Small Faces classic "Afterglow (of your love)". Punctuated by songs by the Saints, the Who, the Jam, Hunters and Collectors, the Clash and Spy V Spy its an onslaught of dance-able rock with plenty of attitude.

"The Urban Guerillas have established themselves as an intelligent and thoughtfully provocative unit. The strong melodic power of their music, combined with their urgent lyrics makes them a potent music force." - The Beat, Melbourne

"Urban Guerillas dazzle the listener with their urgency and sentiment. They are actually one of Australia’s most powerful pop bands with something to say." - Rip it Up, Adelaide

"The sound is great, the pace is terrific and the vocals are clear and interesting." - Canberra Times

"The Urban Guerillas have the musical aptitude to make you cry, cringe and wise up (often within one song). Pitched somewhere between Midnight Oil and Weddings Parties and Anything." - Drum, Sydney

"The Urban Guerillas have a range of songs which are musically enticing and lyrically stirring." - Sunday Mail, Adelaide

"Urban Guerillas play a relentless brand of original rock music." - Who’s who of Australian rock

"Urban Guerilla’s are a bunch of mad bastards that hark back to that period of Oz Rock epitomised by the Angels and Midnight Oil." - Beat Magazine
